Amongst other things, I have appeared as an expert witness at Public Local Inquiries relating to major planning proposals and the preparation of development plans and at examinations in public into regional planning guidance. I also advise our variety of corporate clients on the feasibility of development projects. As a result, I’m conversant with the latest commercial development practices and with a range of funding arrangements for development including private finance and public sources, such as grants. I am Past President of the (now Derbyshire and) Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry, having been Past Chairman of the Environment Committee and Newark Civic Trust. I’m currently on the Board of Nottingham Development Enterprise (NDE) and Nottingham Express Transit. In addition, I am a fully accredited member of the RTPI.” |
